St. John's Blessings | The Rt. Rev. Thomas Ely, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont, visited St. John's Church of Randolph, Sunday, participating in the Eucharist, sharing in a splendid luncheon of sweet and savory pies, and working with the vestry as the church enters the search process for a new priest. The blessing of the Bishop's visit was more than trebeled by Betsy Arnold's return to worship after many weeks convalescence following hip surgery earlier this fall. Here, Bill Arnold stands aside as interim priest Angela Emerson and Bishop Ely bring the elements to Betsy in the pew. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
